STORY
I started practicing the art of hairdressing when I was five years old, taking scissors to my dolls and decided to make it a career in '84 when I enrolled in Cosmetology School.
In 1999 I was given the exciting opportunity to educate for Redken 5th Avenue. For 6 years they kept me busy traveling around the country where I received ongoing education in all avenues of hairdressing as well as facilitating.
I stepped down from facilitating so I could spend more time in the salon. I can create looks from conservative to trendy - I have a talent for color, anything from natural highlights to edgy color.
"Fun Fact", I spent a few years working in a barbershop in the early 90's and have decided to further hone my barbering skills by attending a "Barber Bootcamp" in December, 2021 and I'm looking forward to applying my new skills to any willing participants.......

The Salon
Salon Non-Fiction is a private studio with only two stylists. We serve all genders and we practice COVID safety protocols. And it's not a Downtown Walnut Creek mirage: ample convenient free parking is available for the Salon.
